We would highly recommend this bike tour! 4 of us — 2 adults and our 2 college-aged kids really enjoyed this experience. Biking is easy in an less congested part of town but you can cover a lot more on a bike. You will see some beautiful places you would never see on your own. As a Canadian who has lived in Japan for many years, Ross could answer all our questions about Japanese culture. And he gave us some great suggestions about the best sights we should see on our own–the choices in Kyoto are somewhat overwhelming. It is really a great value also as the cost of tour includes all your admissions. We all agreed it was one of the best bike tours we had ever done. We rented bikes on our own for subsequent days and found it was the best way to get around Kyoto.

Wow! A perfect day with a perfect local guide, Ross. We felt like we were seeing the city’s special places and experiencing unique, hidden away bits of charm that we surely would have missed otherwise. Exceptional sites visited, excellent information about Kyoto, Japan and the culture. Take this tour for a special treat to see the charming, traditional side of Kyoto from an insider’s point of view.
